Masquerade lets you request account deletion. This page explains the process and what happens to your data when you do.
Open the Support screen in the app and send a request asking for account deletion.
If you include the account email or username, it helps us find the correct record faster.
We review deletion requests before removing the account and associated data.
Your profile data, login credentials, messages, photos, voice intros, and other user-generated content that is not required to keep for safety or legal reasons.
Verification images are removed after review and deleted as part of account deletion.
Push-notification tokens and other active account identifiers are removed with the account.
Reports, moderation notes, fraud-prevention data, and other records that must be retained for safety, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
We keep only what we need for those purposes and do not keep deleted-account data around for no reason.
Deletion is processed after the request is verified. Some data may disappear from active use immediately, while retained records are removed or anonymized according to our retention rules.
